Details

The Energy Management System data sources include manual data entry, automated import of bill data, and automatically imported meter feeds. EMS provides remote meter reading reports and cost/rate information on an external web site accessible by the Authority's tenants. During implementation, Energy Hippo imported all historical data from the previous five years. The system interfaces with several existing Airport systems including PeopleSoft. The PeopleSoft interface is run manually and there is a validation and approval process prior to file generation. Energy Hippo provided all the necessary services, equipment, hardware, software, installation, training, and documentation to make the system fully functional.

Energy Hippo also replaced and upgraded revenue grade meters with interval data gathering capabilities, programmed all revenue meters with local utility rates, integrated them into EMS billing system, and developed customized EMS reporting.
